Best Seafood night in Guangzhou - Hongxing Seafood Restaurant

                 I believe that every destination, no matter how small or isolated, have something to keep me and my co-worker entertain. This time our team travel to Guangzhou, a city of technology, for visiting one of the famous trade fairs.

         There are various local food network websites like Dianping or meituan that I got recommended in case I have any VPN issues, however, my traveling sim card from my home country can work without any issues for both Trip advisor and Google map.

              
 On this trip, I found one of the great local seafood restaurant hotspots which were just on the walking distance from the hotel.

                
Hongxing is not just a typical Chinese restaurant but it is an aquarium. The ground floor of the restaurant dedicated for seafood hall, where you can walk around and simply just select and they will cook for you. The staff will also assist you with how much it weighs and how your food will be prepared by the kitchen.

           
This was not my first time having a meal in this kind of restaurant style. I grew up in a business man family and this was a kind of place that you would take your customer to. These place are considered as luxury experience and it only offered to valuable customer and partnership. So if you are doing business with Asain, let them know your expectations for a meal. We love to provide you the best and live seafood is one version of them.

           
    For my table, however, I avoided selecting those live seafood myself so I just ordered from the menu and gave them the idea of seafood's weight. Hence,I would recommend you to see the scale before they confirm your order. So yeah I end up saw the poor giant crab and jumbo prawns in their last minute.

                Quality of food and Service was great, I found everything a bit pricey and it was totally out of my company traveling allowance (luckily I got my boss with me  on the trip so I could get her to approve for my craziness expensive meals and other related expenses). This place is definitely a place to visit despite other tourist hotspots in town as it is giving a real experience of food culture.
