So it's time for a tourist spot in Yangon...... Rangoon tea house. Yeah!

I have heard people talking about Rangoon tea house for years. Some kept telling me that "it was not worth visiting", while other local said " it is just a place for  tourists". At the end,I have decided to visit the tea house just for a branch.

Rangoon tea house located in beautiful heritage building on Pansodarn Raod which is just a few blocks away from Sule Pagoda. The two stories building tea house was decorated in Moden Myanmar style with a touch of hipster scene. The menu was small but they contained all national highlight dishes you need which included a classic myanmar rice noodle,Mohinga.

For this meal, I decided to order a potato Samosas, Mohinga with side dishes and  Si Lone tea with milk skin. Potato samosas were very crispiest with most delicious savoury  filling. There were a mutton option as well but I didn't really like mutton.

Mohinga with full set was served for the main course. I would say I was a  little bit disappointed with heavy in fish flavor style over here. It could be just a personal preference but I found it was very salty for this style of soup. However, the side dishes were delicious, I like crisp fried fritters such as split chickpeas and fried fish cakes.

Si Lone tea with milk skin was nice, there was thick and sweet as I expected. This tea was similar to teh tarik (Malaysian tea) but the aroma of the tea was so much smoother.

Overall, if you travel in Yangon and you look for nice a clean place for lunch,

this is a perfect place for you.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
